Drift at Tea Gardens · Port Stephens NSW
The House
Four bedrooms plus a study with a queen sofa bed, three bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a deck that faces the evening light.
Living & Entertaining
Open-plan living,
made for gathering
High ceilings, wide-plank floors, and a kitchen that can handle a crowd. Drift is designed around connection.

Downstairs
A second living room,
right by the garden
The downstairs living room gives everyone room to spread out — big leather lounges, a TV, and sliding doors straight onto the garden patio and outdoor dining. Perfect for the kids, a movie night, or a quiet corner while the rest of the house is busy.

Every detail at Drift is chosen for the way it feels underfoot, in hand, at dusk — when the light off the Myall turns gold and no one wants to be anywhere else.
The Rooms
Four bedrooms plus a study,
sleeping 12, up to 16
From the main suite with its ensuite and river views, to the bunks beloved by kids. Every room has a place to read and somewhere to hang your things.

A tree with a story
The Balmoral frangipani
The frangipani on the front lawn is very special to us. We saved it from the Balmoral Beach Club and transplanted it into our family home in Sydney, where it grew with our family.
When we sold that home, we couldn't leave it behind. We took a very large cutting and planted it out the front of Drift, where it will keep growing into a massive tree.
Say hello on your way in.
Outside
The garden, the river,
the view that anchors it all
Dog-friendly yard, fire pits by the river, a platform at the water's edge, and sunsets that make you forget what day it is.
